The Cabinet of Dr Caligari's US copyright has expired due to the maximum term passing before the S. Bono copyright extension. It is still in copyright in its home country (where it remains in copyright until 2037) and a lot of other countries throughout the world. So it is PD in the US but not worldwide.

Without doing any research, can you give us your opinion about the probable copyright status of these two Japanese films? There are multiple copies of each here at the Archive. If they aren't p.d., I would like to remove my uploads.

The Streetfighter (1974)
Virus (1980)
